Arjeplog is situated in northern Sweden in Scandinavia.
It is one of the largest municipalities in Sweden, almost
as large as Northern Ireland. In the village, Arjeplog, lives approximately
2000 people and in the whole district 3500.
The Arctic Circle runs through the area.
In Arjeplog there are a lot of mountains and lakes (8700).
Three rivers run through the area and big forests surrounds everything.
The Silvermuseum is situated in Arjeplog. The museum was
created by the “Lapland doctor” Einar Wallqvist. It contains a large collection
of Lappish silver.
In the wintertime, Arjeplog is one of the most popular places
in the world for wintertesting of cars.
